Racine is an unincorporated census-designated place in Boone County, West Virginia, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 256.[2] The post office was opened on December 10, 1881, having been named by the Sayre family whose ancestors lived in Racine, Ohio. Racine is home to the Racine Volunteer Fire Department which covers 174 square miles (450 km2) in its first response area. The John Slack Park is also located in Racine next to the Fire Department.
